Program Dates: SY2012-2013
The Asia Society’s Partnership for Global Learning has announced the launch of “Global Learning for Educators,” a free year-long webinar series beginning this month with back-to-school sessions designed for district and school leaders and two webinars on project-based global learning.
CGEL strongly recommends this series for both administrators and teachers in any subject area or grade level. These webinars will present ideas for equipping all students with the global competencies they will need for life and work in our globally interconnected 21st century world. They will explore strategies for infusing global content across the curriculum. For all schools thinking about how to globalize their teaching, these webinars can form the basis for schoolwide discussions.
The next webinar is “SCHOOLS: GO GLOBAL AND PREPARE STUDENTS FOR SUCCESS”
Thursday, September 27, 4:30 pm
Subsequent webinars are scheduled for October 11 and 25, November 8, December 13, January 10 and 24, February 14 and 28, March 14 and 28, April 11 and 25.
