The Center for Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies (CERES) serves as a Title VI National Resource Center, with the mission of increasing understanding and appreciation of the region's cultures and challenges. At this free workshop, educators will learn to dye their own pysanka in the traditional East European process, as they learn about the origin and meaning of this practice. Participants will receive teaching materials, a copy of the book, The Ukrainian Folk Pysanka, and an official certificate of attendance. The program will take place in McShain Lounge, McCarthy Hall at Georgetown University. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Space is limited.
